About Tree Babies

Tree Babies is a unique parent and baby class offering the opportunity for parents/caregivers to connect with themselves, their babies, their community and nature. It is a class designed for you as a parent/caregiver to feel held, a space to spend quality time together and to switch off from our ever increasing busy lives, whilst also promoting simple and natural sensory experience for your baby. Classes provide focus on the parents wellbeing as research shows a babies wellbeing is significantly impacted by that of their parents. 

Our Tree Babies classes are recommended for pre-movers. 

Tree Babies provides a natural environment for you to draw upon your senses to provide you with a relaxed and calming class that supports you in nurturing your bond and connection with your beautiful baby

Classes are approx 1 hour long and include a range of activities & practices including:

 - mindfulness

 - breathing practices

 - nature art & craft

 - nature sensory development for baby and parent/caregiver

 - gratitude practice

 - journaling 

 - movement including baby wearing dancing, nature walks and gentle stretching

 - community

 - support

It is recommended for health and safety reasons that for any walking aspects of the classes that babies are carried in a carrier or sling.  For our seated circle sessions prams etc can be used to access the grounds at Castle Bromwich Gardens. One of the principles of Nurturing Through Nature classes is to encourage parents/caregivers & babies to embrace and enjoy varying weather conditions and the sensory benefits they can provide. Therefore classes will take place as planned outside as much as possible, however our venue offers sheltered facilities should we experience inclement or dangerous weather, enabling sessions to continue for the majority of the year regardless of weather conditions. 

Our venue also offers onsite free parking and toilet facilities along with a  cafe for you to enjoy before or after sessions with your little ones. Ticket price includes one baby and parents/carer and you can use the grounds of the gardens after the session ends
